Metallic stent in the position of the aortic valve and ascending aorta. Best seen on the lateral view.
Case Discussion
Following femoral arterial puncture, the aortic valve is initially balloon dilated and then an expandable stent inserted across the annulus containing artificial internal valve leaflets.
