The CT scan revealed the features of a retrocecal appendicitis, perforated within the right psoas muscles forming a large abscess that extended through the right abdominal wall into the subcutaneous tissues with fistulisation.
Case Discussion
A case of a neglected perforated appendicitis within the psoas muscles with abscess formation and fistulisation to the abdominal wall (confirmed at surgery).
