CT demonstrated gas and fluid surrounding the sigmoid colon which shows circumferential mural thickening.
Case Discussion
This patient presented with lower abdominal pain and guarding. Gastrografin enema (not shown) suggested sigmoid colon perforation. CT confirmed the diagnosis with gas and fluid surrounding the sigmoid colon which shows circumferential mural thickening.
