Presentation

Peri-anal discharge.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

A 25 mm thin-walled tract starts superficially at the left perianal region and courses superiorly between internal and external anal sphincters to open into the anal canal at 12 o’clock orientation.

No abscess formation is seen.

A high-signal intensity midline cystic structure confined to the prostate, consistent with a utricular cyst. 

Case Discussion

Grade I low-type intersphincteric perianal fistula without evidence of the perianal abscess.
