No fractures seen. Small lucent area surrounding the root of the 3-4 tooth. 

Case Discussion

This case illustrates a small lucent cavity surrounding the root of a tooth, measuring less than 1 cm and without periosteal reaction. This most likely represents a periapical cyst, a periapical abscess is a less likely differential in this clinical scenario.
