Pericallosal lipoma with ventricular extension

Presentation

Chronic headache. Associated occasional vomiting.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Female

There is a thin curvilinear fat density lesion (HU – 90) seen around the corpus callosum (posterior mid-body, isthmus and splenium). Also, this fat lesion enters into the velum interpositum and right lateral ventricle.

No corpus callosum dysgenesis.

No extracranial subcutaneous lipoma.

Features favor pericallosal lipoma.
