Pericardial cyst

The patient is 57 years old female who came with chronic cough.

Gender: Female

There is s a well-defined, non-enhancing, low (water) attenuating, rounded mass next to the pericardium.

Case Discussion

Pericardial cysts are uncommon benign congenital anomalies of the anterior and middle mediastinum. In most patients are asymptomatic and discovered incidentally although occasionally patients may present with chest pain and dyspnea.
