Presentation

Dry cough, shortness of breath, anorexia and weight loss since last one month. CRP and ESR are evaluated. He has known DM II for last 10 years. Rule out pulmonary TB and COVID-19

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Cardiomegaly is noted.

Prominent hila.

ct

There is marked pericardial effusion. No significant pericardial thickening.
No CT features of COVID-19. No pulmonary emboli. No significant air space consolidation.

Enlarged calcified and non-calcified mediastinal and hilar lymph nodes.

Left side minimal pleural effusion with subsegmental atelectasis of the antero-basal segment of left lung lower lobe.

Case Discussion

Marked pericardial effusion with enlarged mediastinal and hilar lymph nodes and minimal left pleural effusion (? infectious causes).
