Presentation
Work up for cough.
Patient Data

Patchy ill defined, mostly subpleural, ground glass opacities and focal consolidations are seen at the right lower lobe suggestive of COVID19 pneumonia (correlated with positive RT-PCR test).
There are also several atelectatic bands scattered bilaterally.
Pericardial fat pad is present, particularly at the right cardiophrenic angle.
In imaged portions of the upper abdomen, the spleen is small and shows marginal calcifications.
Additionally, a 6 mm stone is noted at the upper calyx of the right kidney.
Case Discussion
The pericardial fat pad is a normal structure in the cardiophrenic angle composed of epicardial fat, which lies between the myocardium and visceral pericardium, and paracardial fat, which is adherent and external to the parietal pericardium.
