Presentation

Patient comes to the service with a report of falling from her own height 10 days ago.

Patient Data

Age: 55 years
Gender: Female

Hepatic subcapsular collection adjacent to the right lobe, measuring about 16.2 x 13.5 x 6.4 cm, with a volume of 727 cm³. Peripheral hyper-attenuating (but non enhancing) areas are observed, suggesting hematoma in regression.

Case Discussion

Hemodynamically stable patient, presenting with pain in the right hypochondrium. She underwent percutaneous drainage of the perihepatic collection, showing hematic content.
