A 70×50 mm thick-walled cyst-like lesion is noted superomedial to the right kidney causing pressure effect on adjacent renal parenchyma. In addition, the right hemidiaphragm in the vicinity of the lesion is thickened and a small amount of pleural effusion is noted at imaged portions of the right hemithorax.
Several prominent lymph nodes are also seen at the para-aortocaval region.
Case Discussion
Features on CT scan are most likely compatible with perinephric abscess formation.
