Presentation

Non-traumatic pain on palmer aspect of 2nd MCP joint - 2 wks.

Patient Data

Age: about 35 yrs.
Gender: Female
ultrasound
  • site of pain shows an ovoid anechoic lesion is noted abutting A1 pully of 2nd digit.
  • pully shows normal thickness.
  • no tendinosis / tendon tear / tenosynovitis is noted.
  • palmer plate is intact.
  • no joint effusion is noted.
  • no cortical erosion is seen.
