Peritoneal calcification

Case contributed by Dr Jeremy Jones

History of Buerger's disease disease with previous renal stones and multiple renal interventions. Right flank pain.

Case Discussion

Widespread peritoneal calcification.  While there are numerous differentials, in this case, it was secondary to peritoneal dialysis as a treatment of renal failure secondary to recurrent obstructive uropathy.

In Buerger's disease, there is predisposition to occlusion of small and medium sized arteries.  The bare metal stent in the SMA is visible.
