What is the tubing on the Lt chest wall ?
The tubing on the left side is going from the peritoneum to the central venous system. It is a Denver Shunt.
Case Discussion
This is a peritoneovenous shunt (or Denver shunt) draining the peritoneal fluid in a one-way direction. It is used to treat refractory ascites.
