Altered signal is seen involving the bilateral parieto-occipital periventricular white matter and thalami. Thinning of body of corpus callosum with mild ex-vacuo dilatation of the bilateral lateral ventricles.
Case Discussion
These represent bilateral periventricular leukomalacia as a sequel of previous hypoxic-ischemic insult.
