Irregularity at lateral ventricles margin and abnormal signal intensity at periventricular white matter depict periventricular leukomalacia.

Case Discussion

Periventricular leukomalacia (PVL) is most common in premature neonates (less than 34 weeks gestational age) and <1500 grams at birth affecting the periventricular zones.
