Multiple periventricular nodular lesions, isointense to gray matter on all sequences are seen along posterior body, temporal and occipital horns of bilateral lateral ventricles.
Diffuse thinning of corpus callosum is seen with paucity of bilateral peritrigonal, parietooccipital periventricular and deep white matter.
Case Discussion
Findings consistent with periventricular nodular gray matter heterotopia.
Diffuse thinning of corpus callosum with paucity of bilateral peritrigonal, parietooccipital periventricular and deep white matter is likely sequelae of hypoxic / ischemic perinatal insult.
