Involved in road traffic accident and trauma to occipital region. No loss of consciousness or vomiting. GCS 14/15.

Case Discussion

The metopic suture or frontal suture usually fuses around 9 months of age 1. Failure of metopic suture to fuse by adulthood is a normal anatomical variant and is called persistent metopic suture.
