Presentation

G2 P1 L0 patient with LMP not known, underwent ultrasonography for maturity. No specific complaints.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female
ultrasound

Normal fetal situs is noted. Cardiac apex to left. The stomach bubble is on left side.

Gall bladder is located between the stomach and umbilical vein. An umbilical vein turning towards the stomach. The gall bladder is seen to the left of the umbilical vein.

Cord attachment at anterior abdominal wall. Two umbilical arteries on sides of urinary bladder.

Case Discussion

Findings present persistent right umbilical vein.

No other non-cardiac anomaly could be seen.

Basic cardiac evaluation (4 chamber view, 3 vessel view, outflow tracts) is normal.
