Case Discussion

Phaeochromocytoma of the adrenal gland. This is the cut surface of a nephrectomy specimen, demonstrating a large mass replacing the adrenal gland. It it heterogeneous with areas of haemorrhage. There is no evidence of invasion into the kidney or adjacent tissues.
