Patient Data

Age: Adult
Gender: Female

A well-defined lesion located laterally and superiorly on the right breast.


US-guided core biopsy

A solid hypoechoic lesion in the right breast. The lesion measures 6 cm in diameter and has angular margins. Biopsy needle traversing the mass.

Case Discussion

Biopsy confirms a phyllodes tumor in the right breast. The patient had never noticed the 6 cm lesion in the breast.
