Posterior fossa cystic mass with mural nodule.

VP shunt inserted via right frontal approach, its tip in the foramen of Monro.

Posterior fossa cystic mass with an enhancing mural nodule, most compatible with pilocytic astrocytoma.

Case Discussion

The patient went on to have a resection and histology confirmed the diagnosis of pilocytic astrocytoma
