Patient Data

Age: 13 years
Gender: Female

Limited Pre and Post contrast MRI

A heterogeneously enhancing mass is identified in the fourth ventricle. It causes obstructive hydrocephalus and cerebellar tonsil herniation. In addtion, there is a pontine mass.

Case Discussion

Patient underwent posterior craniotomy and resection of fourth ventricular mass. The histology showed pilocystic astrocytoma.
