Age: Adult
Gender: Female

A well-circumscribed cyst of the pineal region. It has a low T1 signal, high T2 and not fully suppressed on FLAIR images. No restricted diffusion on DWI. Following administration of contrast, there is a thin marginal enhancement. It measures 15 x 9 x 9 mm. Both internal cerebral veins as splayed and elevated by the cyst. No mass effect on the underlying tectal plate.
