Case Discussion

Ping pong fracture of skull or skull depression is an extremely rare condition. Its incidence is approximately 1/10,000. Although it is usually associated with birth trauma during normal labor, there are some cases reported to be congenital, intrauterine or unassociated with birth trauma.

It is important to keep in mind that a fracture line is not seen due to cartilaginous-soft nature of neonatal skull bones.
