Partial fusion of the calcaneotibial arthrodesis following Pirogoff amputation. No complication evident.

Case Discussion

A Pirogoff amputation is usually performed for advanced diabetic or atherosclerotic disease causing gangrene or infection of the midfoot and forefoot.
