Frontal pelvis frontal & Lat Rt femur XR
Tubal ligation clips with high position of the right clip in the right flank. Normal appearance of the pelvis. Incidental sclerotic rimmed lucencies in the left superolateral femoral neck are suggestive of synovial herniation pits. No hip degenerative change.
Case Discussion
Case showing an incidental finding in the left femur neck: Pitt pit, which corresponds to herniation of synovium or soft tissues into the bone through a cortical defect.
