Pituitary gland cyst

Normal MRI brain. Incidentally noted left pituitary gland small intra-glandular cyst measures 4mm and elicits low signal in T1 and high signal in T2.
Case Discussion
Small pituitary cysts are common and usually are incidental asymptomatic findings as in this case. Rathke cleft cyst is first to be considered. Cystic microadenoma is another differential, however, it can show fluid-fluid level or hemorrhagic debris compared to Rathke cleft cysts, which almost never bleed.
