Presentation

G3 P2 with 36 weeks of pregnancy . History of previous two LSCS.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Female
mri

Grade IV (complete) placenta previa. Marked thinning of the myometrium in the lower segment with loss of retroplacental hypointense zone at places. No evidence of bladder invasion.

Case Discussion

Lower segment placenta completely covering the internal os suggests grade IV placenta previa. The patient was taken up for cesarean section delivery. Placenta accreta was confirmed and hysterectomy was done.
