Case Discussion
Left anterior plagiocephaly.
Craniosynostosis refers to premature closure of the cranial sutures. The skull shape then undergoes characteristic changes depending on which suture(s) close early.
Plagiocephaly refers to a type of craniosynostosis in which there is an asymmetric premature closure of the coronal suture (anterior plagiocephaly) or the lambdoid suture (posterior palgiocephaly).
