Case Discussion

Plagiocephaly is a common craniosynostosis that involves the early fusion of one or more skull plates, specifically the coronal suture.

CT scan confirms the clinical and radiological findings, and provides valuable information regarding the brain parenchyma. The extent of the fused suture with the maximum intensity projection (MIP) and volume rendering (VR) this 3D reconstructions provides more precise and careful treatment planning of patients.
