X-ray 7 months prior

Soft tissue thickening and overlying bandage of the fifth toe. Punctate density adjacent to the fifth metatarsal shaft may represent a foreign body. No fracture or bone destruct

Soft tissue swelling right great toe with bone destruction lateral aspect distal phalanx.

X-ray one month later

Worsening destruction great toe distal phalanx with swelling and gas in the adjacent soft tissue.
