Plantar fibroma

Presentation

Right foot plantar region nodule for the last few months. Mild local pain.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

There is a well-defined heterogeneous hypoechoic nodule in the forefoot at the site of a palpable lump. It involves the great toe slip of the plantar fascia. It measures about 20 (length) x 10 (width) x 6 (thickness) mm. The rest of the plantar fascia shows a normal echopattern.
