Pain in plantar aspect of foot, past history of trauma

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

Elongated lesion with irregular margins, measuring approx. 15x10mm is seen along plantar aspect of mid plantar aponeurosis at the level of base of 2nd metatarsal with mild surrounding soft tissue edema.

Small area of nodular thickening is also seen anterior to this lesion.

Case Discussion

Imaging findings, location and history are typical of plantar fibromatosis.
