Presentation

History of left maxillary swelling since 2 years, resection of pleomorphic adenoma 10 years earlier.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years
Gender: Male

Grossly expanded left maxillary sinus filled by a soft tissue mass, causing in diffuse bone destruction. The tumor infiltrates the ethmoid air cells, the left orbit, nasal cavity, and the hard palate.

MRI better demonstrates the inhomogeneous internal structure of the expansile mass, as well as the increased enhancement along with foci of central necrosis.
