Pleomorphic adenoma

Diagnosis probable

Presentation

Lump in the left parotid gland. Ultrasound demonstrated a well demarcated, hypoechoic, vascular, solid lesion within the superficial gland.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
mri

The parotid tail lesion is in the superficial portion of the gland, hyperintense but mildly heterogeneous on T2 and enhances homogeneously with contrast. The right parotid is normal. There is no adenopathy. The remainder of the neck is normal.
