Pleomorphic adenoma of parotid gland

Presentation

Soft tissue bulge in the upper left side neck for two years has been enlarged recently.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

A homogenously enhanced well-defined and minimally lobulated margin solid mass axial width up to 18 x 15 mm and height up to 23 mm in left side parotid gland posterior inferior superficial lobe is seen. 
 

Case Discussion

The case illustrates the non-contrast and contrast-enhanced MDCT features of pathology-proved pleomorphic adenoma of the parotid gland. The tumor can progressively enlarge and be complicated by carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma.
