Presentation

The patient presents with a floor of mouth swelling. CT imaging for diagnosis and surgical planning.

Patient Data

Age: 15 years
Gender: Male

A well-defined, thin-walled, cystic, non-enhancing mass extends from the left sublingual to the submandibular space. There is a regional mass effect with a right-sided deviation of the geniohyoid/ genioglossus complex, asymmetric oropharynx, and mild extrinsic compression of the left submandibular gland. The sublingual "tail" is relatively collapsed.
