Pre-operative evaluation with history of biliary stones and cholecystectomy.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years.
Gender: Female

Air density is seen outlining the central biliary tree at the hepatic hilum and extending transversely in the epigastric region along the left hepatic lobe.

Case Discussion

The patient had a history of biliary dilatation with multiple biliary and gall bladders tones, for which she underwent cholecystectomy and follow-up for the persistent biliary dilatation. This chest X-ray was a part of her pre-operative evaluation for ERCP.
