Sternal wires and mediastinal surgical clips from previous lung transplant. Right lower zone airspace opacification partially obscuring the right heart border. No loss of volume appreciated.
Right humeral head sclerotic foci represent longstanding bone infarcts.
Case Discussion
Right middle lobe pneumonia, with sputum culture growing Mycoplasma pneumoniae, which is one of the more common bacterial pathogens in patients with lung transplants.
