Presentation

The chief complaint is abdominal pain since yesterday, no history of vomiting or diarrhea, or dysuria Physical exam: abdomen is soft, lax, mild tenderness.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
x-ray

Free gas under the diaphragmatic domes is seen (pneumoperitoneum)

No additional findings are noted.

Case Discussion

An erect abdominal radiograph showed the presence of pneumoperitoneum, this is most likely due to a perforated gastric or duodenal ulcer.
