Pneumothorax

A significant pneumothorax with clearly visible pleural edge on the left is seen. No subcutaneous emphysema, no mediastinal shift.
Case Discussion
Pneumothorax is common after placement of central venous catheters. Chest radiographs should be used to assess positioning and to rule out pneumothorax.
