Assault.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

Large left pneumothorax, much more obvious on the expiratory projection. Mediastinal shift to suggest tension. No displaced rib fracture identified.

Case Discussion

Expiratory projections can make pneumothoraces much more obvious (although the pneumothorax in this case is easily visible on the inspiratory projection).
