From the case: Polyarteritis nodosa

Aneurysmal dilatations of intrahepatic and cystic arteries up to 7 mm. Also, there are microaneurysms in the kidneys (mostly including interlobar arteries), in the pancreatic head and mesentery.

Gallbladder stones without signs of cholecystitis. Renal pelvis stones. The lungs are clear.

Case Discussion

Multiple microaneurysms of intrahepatic, cystic, renal, pancreatic, and mesenteric arteries and unremarkable lungs (lung studies are not shown) suggest the diagnosis of polyarteritis nodosa, not Churg-Strauss syndrome.
