Presentation

Cerebral palsy, mental and physical delay.

Patient Data

Age: 8 years
Gender: Female
mri

Along the Sylvian fissure there is abnormal cortex with numerous small gyri - polymicrogyria.
Abnormal shape of the anterior aspect of corpus callosum and absence of rostrum suggests dysgenesis of corpus callosum.

Bilaterally there are prominent veins of Trolard.

Case Discussion

This case presents symmetric bilateral polymicrogyria, additionally there is a dysgenesis of corpus callosum.
