Presentation

Chronic, palpable, painless mass in the anterior scrotal wall

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

Scrotum

ultrasound

Ultrasound confirmed that there are two extrascrotal testes with relatively small size compared with the primary intrascrotal ones, with homogeneous parenchyma. Average vascularity with no abnormality detected.

No hydrocele nor varicocele.

No hernial sacs.

Case Discussion

Polyorchidism is a very rare congenital disorder, which is defined by the presence of more than two testes. It is usually asymptomatic and discovered incidentally on routine scrotal ultrasound. However there is an increased risk of malignancy and traumatic injury.
