MRA revealed a complete occlusion of basilar artery. Left M1, M2, M3 segments of MCA were not visualized.
Case Discussion
A known diabetic patient was referred for evaluation after previous strokes. Recently he has presented with right side hemiplegia. A routine MRI study confirmed the ischemic lesions.
MRA showed a complete occlusion of basilar artery and no signal of M1, M2 and M3 left MCA segments.
