Info

Diffuse linear interrupted calcifications along the gallbladder wall, in keeping with porcelain gallbladder.

Gallbladder neck stone is noted.

Moderate right hydronephrosis with no ureteric dilatation (confirmed on ultrasound). Perirenal fat stranding and few right renal hilar lymph nodes, of pelviureteric junction obstruction with on top acute pyelonephritis.

Left renal lower pole cyst.

Left adrenal lesion with fat density, suggestive of small myelolipoma.

Lumbar spondylotic changes.

Case Discussion

The findings are consistent with a gallstone with porcelain gallbladder. The patient underwent a cholecystectomy. Porcelain gallbladder is an indication of cholecystectomy even in asymptomatic patients as it carries 30% risk for developing gallbladder adenocarcinoma.
