Porcelain gallbladder with large gallstone

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

Abdominal pain.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Male

The hepatic attenuation value is less than of the spleen, suggesting fatty liver.
Several thin-walled non-enhanced cysts are seen at liver less than 28 mm. 

A 50mm hyperdense stone is noted in gallbladder. There is also linear calcification at gallbladder fundal wall inferring porcelain gallbladder. 

A few subcentimeter simple cortical cysts are seen at kidneys. Several parapelvic cysts are also observed bilaterally less than 25mm. 

Degenerative changes as osteophytes are seen at the lumbar spine. 

Case Discussion

The finding consistent with large gallstone with porcelain gallbladder which refers to calcium encrustation of the gallbladder wall.
