Presentation

Patient presented with jaundice and upper abdominal pain

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female
mri

Thrombosed left portal vein with small main and right portal veins and enlarged paracholedochal vein collaterals surrounding the common bile duct with intrinsic signal voids, causing narrowing of the duct with mild intrahepatic biliary tree dilatation.

Splenomegaly is noted with no significant intensity as signal voids within the spleen with signal voids also seen within the gastric submucosa.

Features are compatible with portal hypertension with portal biliopathy.

Incidental finding of right renal angiomyolipoma.
